Dahyana Santos is an ambitious and dedicated student. She currently is a senior at New Design High School. She has seen a lot of the world in her short life span. Dahyana was born in Monsenor Nouel in the Dominican Republic at the age of ten her, her mother and younger sister moved to Brooklyn, NY for better education opportunities in the U.S.A. These days Dahyana identifies as New Yorker but won't ever forget her Dominican roots, she still speaks Spanish, visits her family in the Dominican Republic as often as she can and is proud of her country.
Dahyana is very studious and hopes her years of hard work in school will get her into Brooklyn College someday. Dahyana is still debating on what she wants to major in but has an interest in Psychology. Her thirst for knowledge definitely drives her to always do her best.
